The O’Keeffe family have been producing bakery products for 40 years. Based in Cork, the company was started in 1984 by Liam and Marie O’Keeffe and is now in its second generation. The business was established only producing traditional hand-made bread and by the 1990’s the business diversified into the manufacture of frozen par-baked French bread and rolls. In 2002 the company transferred manufacturing to a purpose-built bakery in Ballincollig and in doing so the company invested in specialist plant and equipment to expand into the Scone, Donut and Tarts markets. The Bakery is currently a Fresh Products, BRC accredited site operating 24/5, employing over 140 staff.
